West Wycombe Park is one of the most theatrical and Italianate of all English country houses and the Dashwood family home for over 300 years. Set in 45 acres of landscaped park, the house as we see it today is the creation of the 2nd Baronet in the 18th century.

 

This Palladian gem is frequently featured in screen adaptations of literary classics such as Cranford and Little Dorrit and more recently the television series, Downton Abbey.

 

For Beauty and the Beast we’ll deliver a breathtaking course route through stunning natural woodland and hilly meadows, all set amidst this 5000 acre Chilterns estate.

 

These magnificent buildings and country surroundings will provide a stunning backdrop to the Beauty and the Beast event. It is possibly, one of the most beautiful settings of any house in England. There again, Beauty and the Beast is possibly the most challenging off-road marathon in England!

 

Access to the venue will be from 0730am on the morning of the event. All vehicles will be required to vacate the venue by 1930pm that evening.

 

Access and parking for entrants on the day is free of charge* – come on down and picnic in the park!
